National Honeymoons: East Coast

Alright, so you've made it across the US. You've traipsed through the Pacific Northwest forests, you've swam in the Great Lakes, now it's time to visit Fenway Park!

So, start there. Start your East Coast honeymoon at Fifteen Beacon in Boston. This luxury boutique hotel infuses modern style with a historic twist. With only 60 guest rooms, the hotel makes for a very intimate place to stay. Fifteen Beacon is located on historic Beacon Hill near Boston's financial district. (And seriously, while you're at it, visit Fenway Park, even if it isn't baseball season) Boston has so much to offer honeymoon couple!

Ok, onto Virginia, The Martha Washington Hotel and Spa in Abingdon, Virginia is the place to be! It opened in 1935 and offers two restaurants, one of which offers American cuisine in an intimate atmosphere. The hotel has 51 guestrooms as well as 11 suites, all with antique decor. The hotel has a business center for the working traveller, a Library for the curious, a fine art gallery, gift shop, market and many work out amenities. The hotel is near The Arts Depot, Whites Mill, William King Regional Arts Center and the Barter Theater.

And, finally, I'm sure you're assuming New York, but how about Vermont? (Vermont should be beautiful this time of year, with all that snow) The Topnotch Resort and Spa in Stowe, Vermont is just that. Top notch! This is a four diamond resort that has been named Number 1 in the Northeast and Best Ski Resort in America. Skiing, golf, a spa, hiking or snowshoeing, all this and more awaits you as you visit Vermont. The hotel offers Norma's, a signature restaurant with contemporary food. Be sure to check out snowy, or green, Vermont on your honeymoon!
