About Us

My name is Katie Frederick and I started Ever After Honeymoons in 2009. I grew up in Northern California and attended University of California, Irvine. During my junior year of college I studied abroad in London. This was a BIG deal for me - I had never been to the East Coast much less out of the country. I was terrified to live in a foreign country for three months. It was the best decision I ever made. I absolutely loved London and the other European cities that I visited. My whole world opened up and I knew that this would be the first of many trips to Europe. And I was right!

After I graduated I got an office job and used all of my vacation days for one big Europe trip per year.  Each trip seemed to get better and better as I learned more about the planning process and became a more confident traveler. I had always wanted to work for myself, but wasn't sure exactly what I wanted to do. I considered many options, until I realized that my dream job was right in front of me. To plan vacations for other people, while planning some for myself along the way as well. I could use everything I had learned through my trips to help others have incredible experiences as well.

In early 2008 I became a travel agent and started planning trips for clients all over the world, focusing mainly on Europe. I planned a few honeymoons and realized this was what I wanted to focus on. I get so much satisfaction out of working with couples, planning their honeymoons, and then hearing what an amazing time they had once they return.

To say I love my job is an understatement. I am extremely passionate about what I do, and really do my best to put together the perfect custom honeymoon for couples. I travel often and am always visiting destinations and hotels that are most requested by my clients to be able to answer their questions and provide more insight about the destinations.
